Painter, photographer, mixed media artist, Cat Allard "the Zen Cat" has shown her work in New York City, Long Island and Connecticut galleries and has been reviewed in the New York Times. A graduate of C.W. Post with a degree in Fine Arts, she was offered an opportunity to compete for a Fulbright which she turned down to support her family. The daughter of a painter and a photographer, Cat says, "My earliest memory is of painting. Deeply influenced by her meditation practice and her spiritual quest, her work spans many mediums and categories. "I don't want to be labeled. Each piece is an opportunity to meet our inner voice and we sing a different song every time.” The Zen part of her name comes from her meditation practice.
